Originally from Portugal DJ Rute is Vinyl Collector and DJ, but above all this a Music lover!

DJ Rute’s unique taste in music and eclectic range of records spans funk, bossa, electronica, jazz and rare cover versions. She’s spun her records across Europe: from Stockholm and Paris to Venice; from her hometown of Lisbon to her base of the last several years, Berlin.

DJ Rute has played all kinds of venues and events, from clubs, hotels and bars, to art galleries, museums, themed parties and private functions.

She’s crossed artistic borders to play for  street-artist-turned-clothing-and-toy-designer Paulo Arraiano in Stockholm; brought the summer heat to Italians by the water in Venice and the beach in Sardinia; and laid down the funk with parter-in-crime (and husband-in-life) Mr Malka, from 007-themed corporate event in Paris to Berlin Fashion Week.

In between, DJ Rute has held down her various local gigs in Berlin, including her ongoing residency at Berlin’s famous Michelberger Hotel.

DJ Rute also regularly posts mixes online, both with collaborators and on her own, for her growing international audience.
